Hospital Ministry

The TETEM Hospital Ministry like the Church’s broader mission, focuses and centralizes on healing patients, families, and healthcare workers within hospital and healthcare facilities, providing physical, spiritual and financial, support through prayer, faith, and the power of God’s word. It encompasses visiting the sick, praying with and for them, offering comfort, and potentially assisting and supporting with their needs, including financial help. The church believes in divine healing and therefore leverages on these opportunities to reach out for the sick and afflicted.

In John 5: 1-14 Jesus preached at Bethesda. In Hebrew the word “Bethesda” means “home of mercy” or “mercy house.” Bethesda is a public infirmary where people with infirmities are kept. Paul also ministered to the sick by visiting the father of Publius who was in sick bed in Acts 28: 8-9. Sick people are usually sober and are ready to listen as they face the threat to death.
